"Kemp Connection" classes are a new offering of the Kemp Center for the Arts. Linking interested persons to artisans in our community, these classes are most often subjects that cannot easily be taught at the Kemp Center due to time, space, or equipment limitations. All instructors are known to the Kemp; many have taught classes at the Kemp at some point in the past. Generally speaking, Kemp Connection classes are introductory in nature, with the intention that future instruction will be arranged directly between the student and the teacher.

Quotes from some of Guido's previous workshop participants

"Guido has such wonderful colors in his paintings. He does fantastic demonstrations. It is like watching a magician making magic with oils and a paint brush."

June H - 2010 Auburn, AL

"Guido is excellent! Often I 'freeze up' in workshops, but with Guido I was relaxed and able to respond well to his instruction. Just a great experience!"

Kay M - 2009 Tulsa, OK

"It is a special treat to watch Guido demo a painting. As a group, we felt he gave his undivided attention in critiquing our work  and encouraging us to rise to a higher level of achievement developing our own distinct styles."
